Installing Creater 2010 On Win 7 64 Bit

have purchased this software on the recommendation of the lead at a retail store and i think i have been sold a bill of goods. i am logged into win 7 (64 bit version) as administrator. the machine has 300G of HDD space on C:\ and 4G of ram. any hints?
