When installing Easy Media Creator 10 Suite I received error 0642. After reporting it to support they had me do a number of instructions which included uninstalling version 2009 version. This is when I started getting a box popping up continuously saying to reinsert the disc for 2009, which I did and it had no affect. Thus ensued 2 weeks of back and forth with support and them giving me essentially the same instructions each time I replied. They finally replied that this was a Legacy product which they no longer support!! That's bevuase they couldn't fix it. This box that popped up was from Windows Installer and it was coming up more than ONCE PER SECOND! I could not even use my computer. With mucg research I finally fixed the problem which invovled deleteing more than 3,000 entries in the registry related to Roxio and Sonic, and the installer software they use Macrovision. I have used every version from 7-10 but will NEVER use their products again and will not reinstall version 10 to allowit to take over my computer again. Run a regedit command and see how many entires are there for these products. My computer is much faster with their junk gone, and their loust support for "Legacy" products. I guess if you are not on the current product then you have a Legacy product. Good luck on that and good-bye Roxio!
