Dvdit Pro Hd Has Stopped Working. Help Needed

jgates0923

Question

I recently purchased DVDit Pro HD and starting it up to get a feel for the new features. I finished my first project and attempted to burn the file I made. As soon as progress bar said the menus had been created and transcoding began, the program immediately freezes with the windows error "DVDit Pro has stopped working. A program has cause this program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Of course there is no solution provided or I wouldn't be here. Can anyone shed some light on why this 500 dollar investment is failing on the first attempt to create a DVD? Any help will be much appreciated! :)

Notable Settings Tweaked During Creation:

The audio was changed to Low Quality VBR to fit more on the DVD

First time I use DVDit pro and I have exactly the same problem. Did you find any solution to this, jgates0923?

I can`t burn disc or write a disc image. The same error message pops up when it start to transcoding video. I have also tried a bunch of different project settings with the same negative result.

Hi jgates0923,

What is you O.S.? Your PrintScrn is unkhown for me.

I use Windows 7 Pro 64bit generally without problemes.

Please look at antonsvideo site:

This trick is very important when we edit video.

Also look about another probleme:

I only use DVDit! HD Pro when I want a Blu-ray and a DVD with the same project.

Indeed there are others authoring softwares less expensives and with so many features who are inherents to Blu-ray(pop-up menus, and so one)that DVDit don't has...DVDit! produce Blu-ray with same menu DVD structure. Blu-ray has so many possibilities that Dvdit! is enable to produce.Unfortunately is like a dead product without updates.

Very important: always try to export video and sound with a format that DVDit! don´t need transcode.

antonsvideo has a very good knowdlege and gaves you very usefuls indications.
