Roxio Creator Basic V9

Dixie In Ohio

Question

When using ROXIO CREATOR BASIC V9 (Vista system) After following instructions to insert disc to be copied, and then pressing the "orange button" to continue, it appears that it just stays there at this step. After minutes pass, the tray opens and I'm instructed (again) to insert the disc which I would like to copy. But what should take place at this step is the "next step" of instructions, which is insert the blank disc. What isn't taking place during the first step is that the temp file isn't being written to the hard drive...therefore, there's nothing to copy to the blank disc. What is happening? Why am I experiencing this problem? I have done this many times with much success in the past. I have copied my personal music CD over 200 times over the past two years and suddenly I'm having problems. Please help ;)

What have you changed or updated lately? Check the settings to see where and if the temp file is being saved. You may have "filled" the folder for the temp files. Perhaps it is time to delete some of them if they are still hanging around on your computer. How much free and defragged space do you have on your drive where the temp files are to be stored?
