trosenau
I recently reinstalled my copy of Roxio Creator 2009 Special Edition and can no longer find the application that will allow me to just copy a cd? I cant even make an ISO disk image of an existing disk? Running Vista Home Premium SP 2.
trosenau
No, Still Vista Home Premium. The reason I reinstalled, was It had stopped working and I removed it. It would not reinstall until I downloaded and ran the Registry Key fixing utility that Roxio had available for download. After that, it would install without any problems. Brendon
Let's stick to the main problem here. That big main menu is called the "Home Application". It has many of the other functions built-in and is not just a menu system. If you don't have the Home Application available, then something has gone wrong with your install. You need to clean out, go through the "prepare your system" routine, and reinstall the software suite.
trosenau
Why is is when someone else tells you to reinstall, it works! Anyways, I used the Control Panel->Programs to remove all Roxio apps. Then rebooted and reinstalled and the Main Startup window is there. Copy Disk function has returned. Thanks for the help. Brendon
This is Creator 2009 Ultimate and I don't know if Creator 2009 SE is different, but don't you have these menu options available from the Home > Data-Copy page?
trosenau
Funny you should mention that. Before I reinstalled the software, I had a Start menu option to start the big main menu that would take you to the various sub applications. After reinstalling, that menu item disappeared and I only have the sub applications under the Applications folder.
gi7omy
Just to go off on a slight tangent here. When you 're-installed' did you by any chance re-install on a new OS, say Windows 7?
