Videowave13 Crashing After First Run

Question

Ok folks, running windows 7 ultimate on an alienware 17x computer. 600+ gb free, loads of memory available.

I can get videowave13 to run one time after a clean creator install and then it crashes on subsequent startups. Sometimes the video format selection is visible behind the crash screen sometimes it doesn't even make it that far. This problem actually seemed to start with videowave12 but has migrated to 13 after upgrading yesterday. All of the windows components are up to date as of this afternoon. Anybody else have this kind of problem or have any hints as to where to look? I've uninstalled avast and done the "clean" install procedures.

I have the same problem with Win 7 64 bit. The first time it works and after that crashes!
