Creator 2010 Stops Working

LYNNWOOD3

Question

I have had a terrible time with Creator 10. In using the "advanced" video editor, I can rarely complete any project without the program locking up. "stopped working" is a message I see all the time. I don't have to be doing anything other than cutting a video up into smaller segments for youtube. Help!

List your computer specs.

Have you updated the drivers for your video card? Have you stopped processes from running in the background, while you are working in VideoWave?

i have updated the video card....and cked on background programs....only essentials running that i can tell. just tried video wave 12 again and loaded a 28:30 video. tried trim application. canceled the trim application and the screen goes to a faded look and i get the message "video wave 12 has stopped working". maybe my comp. just can't handle the process necessary for roxio 10.

Your system

intel t5200 1.6 ghz

From System Requirements (and these are bare minimum really)

or video editing and conversion and DVD playback Intel Pentium 4 2GHz processor or AMD equivalent and 1GB RAM. Multi-core processor with at least 2GB RAM recommended.

Daithi is correct, in his post above mine. Your laptop doesn't even meet the bare minimum requirements for video work. That is the reason you are having the problems you have listed.

I doubt seriously that you can still download this version. Did you not burn the file to a DVD, after you downloaded it, or backup the file, somewhere on your computer?

You should have done that.
