kiph
Hi, I specify a file (tried wav and mp3 files) for (Main) Menu audio track. When I burn and play the DVD, I only get 15-20 seconds of a the track which is a 4 minute track. Is this a limitation? Or, have I made a mistake? Thanks, all! kip

Or, have I made a mistake?Assuming you mean the menu for a DVD using MyDVD, how much music you add doesn't determine the length of the menu. It's the length of the VIDEO or still image. To make it longer, you have to click on Edit Background. Make background video longer by adding more video (or copy/paste the existing one) or lengthening the duration of the still image. Make sure either will fit the 4min song. Click BACK TO MENU above the preview The menu length should automatically change. Also be aware that longer menus will take up space on the disc. After all it's just video like your movie. If your menu is 4min long, that's 4 minutes LESS space for your video.
kiph
Excellent explanation, ggrussel! I hadn't even considered the possibility of the menu itself having duration. I thought of it as static. Sorry for the overly(?) concise description of the problem on my part. And, many thanks for your considerate response, Sir. kip Assuming you mean the menu for a DVD using MyDVD, how much music you add doesn't determine the length of the menu. ggrussell
Checking this again, I can see the confusion and I would probably agree that the users shouldn't have to do anything. For example if we choose 'Change Audio', the program should change the length of the menu to fit the audio regardless. I need to elaborate a bit more on the above instructions. FIRST - go to the MENU item and "Remove Menu Audio" When you go to Edit Menu Background, you then add your music file the the Music Track.
