VideoWave Freezes

I have an HPE180t computer.windows 7 home premium.Intel core i7 cpu.950 @3.07 ghz.

8GB RAM. 64 bit OS. I use video wave to edit and trim movie clips, add backround music, and add text and transition effects.(VIA roxio creator pro 2010). video wave stops responding frequently. After 2 days I successfully created 19 minutes of video with backround music. After saving the project, I exported the file to both my DVD and to ntsc video file. The problem encoutered from my DVD is error encoding when trying to burn project to DVD. I burned a DVD from My Videos using "on the go" and My DVD. The DVD will play in my computer ONLY. I want to play them in my DVD player or blu ray player. The player automaticly detects a photo file. When i try to view the DVD the player says the disc is blank. When i select video on the player , i get a message asking if i would like to delete BD files? Neither of the DVDs I made will play in my DVD or blu ray player, but they both will play in my computer.

In order to make any DVD – AVCHD – BD Movie you have to Author a disc. They are not just a bunch of files slapped on a disc.

 

To do that you must use MyDVD and finish successfully…

 

Get a DVD RW or BD-RE disc to play with.

 

Keep it real simple: Open MyDVD to the type of project you want to make and accept its' defaults!

 

Add 2 Still pictures to it and Burn!

 

Assuming success, erase the disc and do the same simple project only use a movie or a raw clip you have…

 

Keep upping the complexity until it breaks. Let us know what happens.

I tried your suggestions. I burned 2 still pics to DVD from "my DVD" in Roxio creator pro 2010. The DVD burned with no problems. The DVD played in my Sony BD-s550 blu ray player.

then attempted to burn a DVD from "my DVD" containing 1 short video clip. The DVD did NOT successfully burn. The message read; error while encoding movie,DVD incomplete. I tried this several times using different movie clips with the same end result. "error while encoding movie, DVD incomplete. Please advise. Appreciate any help.
