Is Roxio2011 Really New?

Well, I finally decided to download the full Roxio2011-Pro (wow - and it is huge at over 3gb).

 

So having eventually installed it, despite problem with the Streamer thing just disabling my Wireless Card during install (so I left it out), my first impressions are :-

 

Well for 50 quid I'd have thought they could at least have changed the ICON and the Home Page (even a different colour would be bit better than just leaving it the same!!

 

Now I've said that, I'm sure there will be loads of responses saying surely you want the software to have more functionality and work better, indeed I do, and I also want Roxio to provide a new Icon and Home page!!!!

They tried that in the past (changed icon colour) and got complaints

 

Now there's a complaint because they don't

Lack of imagination at Roxio I guess, if that's truly the case, why not give the option to the users to pick their own Icon and Home Page (skins and themes spring to mind, and icons aren't much effort to build although maybe for Roxio).

I can't answer for Roxio (I'm not even on the same continent as them) but I've never come acoss a program yet yhat lets you pick and choose what icon you want.

 

You CAN change icons yourself from file properties, but why bother (unless you have two programs installed)?

 

Microsoft Word icon hasn't changed to any extent since wy back in 95
