gary3
I purchased Toast 10 Titanium, downloaded the file "Toast_10_Titanium_1007_563_GM.dmg" and when I double-click to open I receive an error message stating that "Toast_10_Titanium_10" not recognized. Anyone experience this problem?
mnorth
I had the exact same thing happen today. Said my version (10) that I purchased last week was a beta and "expired" (didn't realize Toast was a "tethered" product) and decided to delete the install and re-download from Digital River since I only purchased it last week. Now every time I download the DMG, it won't open and says "not recognized". Between the hidden "beta" status of the first purchased version to this nonsense, I'm rapidly losing faith in this software. I sent an email to support, predictably they sent back a boilerplate email warning about download accelerators and firewalls. Looks like $95 down the drain while I waste even more time simply trying to get a product I paid a lot of money for to work. Amazing. Guess I'll have to keep checking back here to see if anybody figures out Roxio's screw-up on their own and we can get a solution. Boilerplate form-letter emails sure don't solve the problem. Did you see my post about going to Roxio's software updates page and downloading the Toast 10.0.8 update? It replaces what you downloaded when you bought Toast. tsantee
excuse me where you download the update? I said that the trial has expired but I bought it! At the top of this page there is a heading titled "Support". Place the cursor over it an you'll see a dropdown menu that includes the heading "Software Updates." That will take you to a page where you can find the Toast 10 update. The update has everything that was included with the original purchase download. I guess we need an update to fix the update. Anyone else finding that rthe update is also buggy. Thanks

Try trashing the Toast plist and prefs files in your User>Library>Preferences folder and relaunch Toast to see if this fixes the problem.
mnorth
I am downloading the update now and will give it a try. It's almost twice as big as the official Toast 10 distribution via Digital River, not sure why that is, but we'll see.

Try trashing the Toast plist and prefs files in your User>Library>Preferences folder and relaunch Toast to see if this fixes the problem. I'm having somewhat the same problem. Installed current update, and when I opened toast the set-up asst. came up. Put in reg. code and could not advance past that step. Is it not recognizing code? Not sure what to do next. I complete deleted the defective "beta warning" files including plist and prefs from my system, downloaded and installed the update, entered my reg code and the program is now functional. tsantee
Go to Roxio's software updates page and download the Toast 10.0.8 update. It includes everything and doesn't require a previous version to be installed. See if that works.
