Video Wave 12 Has Stopped Working

akf

Question

I am taking videos from my Panasonic HDC-HS100 video camera, putting them in the Roxio Creator and trying to burn them to a Blu Ray disc. I have enough video on there that Roxio is showing me that the disc will be at approx. 23GB. When I hit "Burn" Roxio starts encoding and gets almost all the way through when I receive this message and it closes. I can do small clips but I want the whole video burned.

I am using Windows 7 on a Dell with 3GB RAM.

Ok, Jim, it worked!!! Now to do the "real thing"! Thanks for your help.

I really don't understand why there are not instructions for this. It seems the VideoWave 12 issue happens with alot of people. Roxio is a VERY user friendly program - they really need to get the kinks out so others can recommend this product.

Thanks again.

You MUST start with a 16:9 Project…

You cannot make a BD from 4:3. That is why you don't see the options.

Run Repair from Control Panel – Programs and Features on 2010.

Did you build your project in VideoWave or try to take a shortcut and make it in MyDVD???

Hoping the answer is VW. Do an Export As from VW to Blu-ray HQ.

Load that file(s) into a new MyDVD project and Burn to a File (ISO). That way you can test the program without creating a coaster!

Remember it is a test, so don't waste time trying to tinker with menus, chapters, music, etc.

Ok, I ran Repair, built the project in VideoWave, but when it got to the "Make Movie" screen there was no option for "Blu-ray Authoring". I have purchased the Blu-ray plug in from Roxio. What did I not do right?

Okay, now can you tell me why when I click on "Burn" and it validates the program, it gives me a message that reads "Not enough hard disc space for the temporary files" when it shows that I am using 19,845.5MB with 4,374.5MB free? UGH!!!!!!
