Easy Vhs To Dvd - Installation Cd Not Recognized At All

I just purchased Easy VHS to DVD and have been trying for the last several days to simply load the installation program to no avail, after having tried several of the suggestions, so I have to give up and formally ask for the answer.

 

Problem: When I insert the installation CD, my PC will not recognize it. If I click on the CD drive, no disc is shown at all. I tried it on my girlfriend's PC with same result.

 

Question: How do I resolve this issue in one steo or less.

Try the disc in a DVD drive. It's an installation DVD disc not a CD disc.

Do you think a Wheel and a Tire are generically the same too??? Try to speak the language to avoid misunderstanding and unnecessary questions.

 

Did you try cleaning the disc?

 

If you got it locally, go back and exchange it.

Really? How mant times do you have to be told not to be a smartass if you don't know the answer, which from everything I am reading about the problems of this program, isn't available.
