When I save video as mpeg, Windows Movie maker cannot find the source material. This was working prior to installing Roxio-- any ideas? Thanks

?? Why do you want WMM to see the file? Why don't you use the Roxio application to do what you want to do? How did you get the original file that you changed the extension ot mpg.

Are you sure that it normally handles mpeg2 files and not just WMV and DV-AVI files?

Quote "Importing video

Q. Can I import video recorded using Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 into Movie Maker?

A. Unfortunately, video recorded in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004, which is an MPEG-2 file that has a .dvr-ms file name extension, cannot be imported into Movie Maker.
