Does Certificate fix work with other versions?

I would like to try to fix but when I try to access the link, I get a 404 error message and that the webpage cannot be found. Any suggestions?

We created a fix today for the Certificate Missing/Corrupt error during launch of some of the applications. It's not official yet so we need some people to verify it works.

 

To apply the fix.

 

1. IMPORTANT (Turn OFF Antivirus)

2. Close down all Roxio apps and then run the following RepairLicense2011.exe.

3. Click the button "Reset License and TimeLocks" and wait a few minutes (takes about 2 minutes)

4. Relaunch applications that failed.

Please post if this works for you. Also we need information on what machines this is reproducing on.

Please post your Operating System and Machine Manufacturer/Model.

'DE' is an OEM (cut down) version produced to Dell specifications

 

Any patches or support comes from Dell themselves

No, it won't. You posted in the Creator 2011 forums, and you don't have that software, nor do you have Creator 2010, so neither of the two patches, in the link, will work for other versions.

 

Do what Daithi suggested, and look on Dell's site for a patch.
