AntTonix
Hello, I was preparing to make a dvd with some episodes from a series. The file size for each episode is around 200 mb but when I put it MyDVD it says that 1 movie is around 1.5 GB. I need help, and I would be glad if someone could help me. Beerman
It's likely that the file you have is a compressed file such as an divx or xvid or mp4. When you make a DVD, in order to make it DVD compliant, it converts it to an mpeg format which is not condensed and takes up more space. Are you trying to fit a number of episodes on 1 dvd? jrbungeetroll
In general, if you convert videos (ie avi, divx etc.) to DVD compliant you'll get about 2 hours on 1 DVD. If you burn the episodes as data and don't convert then obviously you can fit more on a DVD. But it may or may not play on your DVD player. check out http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers and input your player brand/name and it will tell you what it should play for formats... gi7omy
Actually with a standard DVD you get ONE hour at good quality (try to fit more in and quality will drop) To get 2 hours, you need a dual layer disc
