Cannot Reinstall Creator 2009

I have worked with MyDVD, RecordNow and for two years now with Creator 2009. Apart from saying that working with the program is very difficult (it is NOT consumer friendly), I now encounter the "final" problem:

as I was getting more error messages than ever, I decided to remove Creator 2009 in order to reinstall it from scratch. However, whatever I try, this has proved absolutely impossible. Setup tries to install.NET Framework 3.5, which is already present, and ends with an error message. Still Setup continues so you might think everything is OK, but when Setup says that things have finished, I try to start Creator2009 and find myself confronted with the message that there is a problem and whether I would like to send an error report to Microsoft ........

I also have the same problem. Tried to reinstall Creator 2009 and it won't open. Began the Complete Uninstall of Creator 2009 for Windows XP and at 2. I typed misconfig and got a message that Windows could not locate. What now?

Have you tried the clean install http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/41967-clean-install-for-c2009/ follow ALL the steps.

I did the uninstall of Creator 2009 for Windows XP again and it still does not work! Help please!

Download and run Revo Uninstaller (link) in the Moderate Mode (free) and remove any Roxio or Sonic programs you can find. Do thisand then reinstall.
