Throws A Certificate Error

"the certificate file is missing or currupted and may need to reinstall" i reinstalled it twice on both computers. Went to the store and exchanged it and i get the same error. what is going on? why is it not functioning. i bought this today. 09/28/10.

That is a little unusual for that to happen with V2D…

 

Please confirm that this is actually what you have:

 

 

Then list your PC specs, and particular your OS.

 

Note, if running Win7, make sure the box has the Win7 logo on it!!!

I am also having this problem. I have recently cleared my hard drive and reinstalled all systems. Previosly V to D was working fine.

Attempts at launching Roxio easy VHS to DVD Compatible with Windows 7 end with certificate error.

VHStoDVDAPP windows states: The certificate file is missing or has been corrupted. Please re-install it.

Roxio window states: An unknown error has occurred. The application will shut down now. Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
