0 tsantee Posted October 2, 2010 Report Share Posted October 2, 2010 (edited) If you had the Add CD Text check box on (which is the default) then Toast wrote the track and album information to the disc as CD Text. However, the Mac (and other computers) don't read CD Text. When your Mac does show track information with an audio CD it is because it either was downloaded from the online CDDB or entered in iTunes and written to a cdinfo database file in one of the Mac's libraries. This is the nature of audio CDs on computers. Go to dougscripts.com and get the "CD Text to cdinfo" applescript. When installed it appears in scripts menu in iTunes. It automates the transfer of the CD Text information burned by Toast to the cdinfo database file read by your Mac.
