Track Following Error....help!

Hello.

 

So as of a couple days ago, I have started to get this error when trying to burn a dvd. From reading around on some forums, most people suggested trying a different brand of media. I have tried 3 different kinds, the most recent being Verbatim. Each time I switch, Toast will burn 1 or 2 dvd's just fine and then it will start with the errors again. I am running the most current version of Toast, my MacBook is up to date on everything, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Toast...I am stumped...I don't know what else to do.

 

My drive is still reading dvd's etc. Put one in earlier to make sure that it wasnt the laser that was screwed, but it read the dvd right away. Have never had any errors or problems until a couple of days ago.

 

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I am about to start ripping my hair out.

I'm not familiar with this error. Could it be that the drive is getting too warm which means it is a hardware issue? Try choosing a slower burn speed than Best (which is the fastest available speed). You can choose the speed after the blank disc is inserted and recognized. Try at 8X.
