Non-Autoplay Video

Question

Hi,

I'm new to Toast and CD/DVD burning in general. I need to create a Hybrid data DVD that works on both PC and Mac. On the Windows side, it will autorun an exe that has a menu allowing you to run the video. On the Mac side, I just want to auto-open the folder and then have an icon for the movie. That is, I don't want the movie to autoplay. Currently the video is in the Video_TS folder format. Is there a way to stop it autoplaying. either in this format or in some other format?

thanks in advance,

Rebecca

A Mac (and probably PCs as well) have a system setting that determines what to do when a video DVD is inserted. So the autoplay of a VIDEO_TS folder is determined by the Mac's settings in System Preferences. You will need to convert the video to another format such as H.264 using Toast's Convert window so it is just a computer file rather than a video DVD.
