Audio Not Playing In Fcp. Any Tips?

HI. I am converting AVCHD files through Toast 10 into DVPro 50 files (48k audio) for editing in Final Cut Pro. Everything is dandy except that the audio needs to be rendered in FCP. Quite an inconvenience. Have triple checked the conversion settings and all seems fine. Anyone with the same problem or any suggestions? Thanks

Update. The problem seems to be that Toast converts audio into 32 bit Audio. FCP uses 16 bit or 24 bit - therefore needs to render the audio into that format. Had a play around but can't see any obvious way to change Toast's bit rate. Anyone??
