Spanning Files To Two Optical Drives

Question

I'm regularly (every day) burning folders of images that span onto a second DVD. I know I can't burn to multiple drives simultaneously, but what I REALLY want to do is have Toast, or another program, burn the first disk with my upper superdrive, then automatically switch to my lower optical drive and burn the second disk. I want to be able load a blank disc in each of my DVD burners and Toast use both of them when spanning files so that I don't have to sit by the computer and switch the disks. I've been searching everywhere for a way to do this, is it possible?
