Matt1
Burn disk to image just hangs. I waited several minutes, nothing other than the hourglass & "Not responding". It finally just went back to as if I never press the "burn" button. Seems like DOA s/w, nothing has worked at all yet. First do this Then reinstall the software making sure to follow this article first Do exactly what each one says.Skipping steps may result in another bad install. Make very sure that your Anti Virus software is turned off not just suspended.

Your not "Burn Disk To Image" you say you have a image your trying to burn to a disc, correct? Where did this image come from? Do you know what software made the image? What type of image/file extension does this image have?

0 tbrewst
If you made the ISO with Creator 2010 then you should be able to go to the Home app,Data/Copy,Burn Disc Image. This should burn the image to a disc. You can also right click on the ISO and then when the menu comes up hit Burn with Creator. That will open the same Burn Disc Image screen. If that is what you've done and it just sits there and never burns then I think you've got a problem with your install and you should try what I said. In your first post you said nothing works but now you're saying you made the ISO with 2010.So that part works. I suggest you follow the directions in the links I gave and get a good install and then try again.

Do you know what software made the image? See above. What type of image/file extension does this image have? ISO. Edited to clarify responses. What application within Roxio Creator 2010 made the ISO File and how large in size is it? What type of disc are you trying to burn the ISO to? Be specific in both answers please. Before you do all this uninstall-reinstall, I would try a repair from add remove programs or control panel programs and features, depending on what operating system. Then see if it works. If it doesn't I would download the free small program ImgBurn, try to burn with it and enable the log and save it if it fails. It's the best way to check against Roxio's software before all the uninstall-reinstall work.. 9.Click here ImgBurn Current version: 2.5.1.0 CD / DVD / HD DVD / Blu-ray burning application Click the download button in the blue bar at the top of the link. 0 Matt1
Well, I did the uninstall / reinstall per all the ridiculously painful steps. (Properly written software would just work on install.) Still, capture video or create DVD does not work. Burning a DVD from the ISO image seemed to work. I just want it all to work, not wonder what is going on. Actually, I think I just want my money back. I just bought it (when I bought my new PC at HP.com). 0 Brendon
You didn't say you had a cheap OEM version from HP. Their version is cut-down from the full to fit their specs. They might not have included the functions you want. You should speak to them about both functionality and any refund.
0 sknis
It would also have made this easier if you clarified what you were doing. In your original post, you said that "Burn Disc to Image" didn't work. Of course, we found out that is not what you wanted to do (after a lot of posts). You wanted to "Burn Disc Image" There is an options in the full version that is "Copy Disc to Image". Therefore, I was confused by your first post. Please be more accurate when you post your next question.
0 Matt1
I found a workaround on the Roxio support forums. Can't remember what it was now, but I had to run a little program they created to fix it. Note: I am now using Roxio Creator 2011, purchased direct from Roxio, added on after I purchased Roxio Creator 2010 from HP just weeks before. Arrgghhh. Question
Matt1
Burn disk to image just hangs.
I waited several minutes, nothing other than the hourglass & "Not responding".
It finally just went back to as if I never press the "burn" button.
Seems like DOA s/w, nothing has worked at all yet.
