When copying and burning a DVD does the media remain on the hard drive if only COPY is selected?

 

 

The word "copy" means that you are making a copy of the original, you are not moving the original or deleting the original.

 

BTW, media refers to hardware such as DVDs or CDs not the files you are copying.

There is a temporary file is created. Use CCleaner (link) to clean up all those junk files. Do not use a registry cleaner. This is from Creator 2011 but there may be similar wording; if not, that file will still be there.

 

Are you asking if it is created so that you can make multiple copies?

 

If you haven't started the copy process, remember that you cannot copy DRM (commercial) discs.
