Audio From Room Not Dvd Is Burned To Dvd

I just got my ROXIO easy VHS to DVD installed and attempted to burn my first ever DVD from a VHS tape. I followed instructions inthe Getting Started Guide but upon checking out the newly burned DVD the Video wAS great however ther audio on the DVD was the voices from the people in the room while the DVD was burning.... What did I do wrong. How do I get the VHS Audio to record along with the Video to the DVD?

Disable the build-in microphone on your computer while recording.
