Hi sorry if this is in the wrong section but i can't find a relevant section for my software.

I have Roxio Creator Premier Version 9 and i am trying to extract audio from an avi file and have read on the net that i need to open Media Selector but it isn't on my Tools menu??

Can anybody please help me?

You have a Dell OEM version of Roxio (it came installed on your computer). Almost ALL Dell versions are cut-back versions of the full retail version from Roxio.

Check with Dell to see if their version has the feature that you need.

Media Selector is part of VideoWave, and you can extract the audio by browsing to the video file, in Media Selector, right clicking on it, and selecting Extract Audio.

Media Manager is a separate program, and the same thing can be done in that program.

Hi mate, so can i do this if i have a limited version?

If Media Selector is part of VideoWave does that mean i have VideoWave?

I'm a bit confused.....:)

The issue is that we arew not sure what you have and what applications. Assuming that you have Creator 9DE or similar, then you do not have Video Wave and you cannot do it. Does your Home screen look like this? Please post a screen short of your home screen so we can quickly andswer you and perhaps help others.
