So I just transferred a 2 hour tape from VHS to my computer and opened it up in imovie to edit. For the first 30 minutes of the video, everything is perfect. But after a little more than 30 minutes, the audio starts becoming splotchy, meaning that it will be 2 seconds of audio, 2 seconds of silence, 2 seconds of audio, 2 seconds of silence, and on and on and on. This continues for the rest of the captured video. No clue why this is happening, as the first 35 minutes are fine. I'm using an S-Video connector, if that helps.
Thanks to anyone who can help!
Other details: The audio goes fine for 35 minutes, completely goes silent for about 10 seconds, and then starts being splotchy. Even when the audio is splotchy, it doesn't match up with the video- it is consistently a few seconds behind the video.
