covmaster
I bought Toast 10, excited that I'd be able to transfer my Tivo recordings to my mac and then load these shows onto my iPhone, iPad, etc. Well when I launch Tivo Transfer, almost EVERY show has the red circle slash icon next to it, not allowing me to transfer the show! Literally, I'd say at least 1 out of 10 shows actually works. So what's the point!?! How does Roxio use this as a selling point for Toast 10 and then users find that they can't use it because of legal copyright issues? Is there anyway around this, or I'm just stuck being frustrated? thanks.
tsantee
It is your cable provider that is blocking those transfers. They should not be allowed to block any stations that are available over the air in your area. The other cable channels are fair game. My provider (Comcast in Eugene, Oregon) is only blocking the premium channels so I'm more fortunate than are you.
