Aliens Have Landed

I have just purchased easy VHS to DVD. I can see the video but I have no sound. All I get is a noise that sounds like an alien landing. It starts low and increases until the quality level goes to red and then it quiets down. This keeps repeating. I have plugged in the wires different ways and still the same thing. Also, when I burned the DVD all I got was the menu screen.

Try using a different source...if your source input is a VCR, connect a DVD player or camcorder (use the same connections) and see what happens.
