Roxio 2010 Transistion's Get Corrupt

miser

Question

I am using Roxio 2010, and after making a 20 min movie, burning to a DVD and watching the movie on TV, some transisitons become corrupt and show a black screen. After viewing the movie again in Roxio, you can see which transisitons were bad. If you look carefully you see that the transisition are in fact corrupt. After removing the corrupt transistion and replacing with the same one it will play fine.

I have found that after making a movie successfully to a DVD, and going back a week later to make an adjustment and burning a new dvd, one or two transistion will be bad again showing a black screen. I am unsure what's happening, or how to correct this without having to replace each bad transistion... Any Ideas....

I am using Roxio 2010, and after making a 20 min movie, for some reason after burning the movie to DVD and watching it on TV, certain

transisitons will go to black. Sure enough after viewing the movie again in Roxio, you can see which transisitons went bad. If you look carefully you'll notice the transisition do look corrupt. So after deleting and replacing with the same transisiton it will work fine. I have found that after making a movie successfully to DVD, and going back a week later to make a slight adjustment to the movie, and burning to a dvd, a transistion will go bad again and show a black screen. I am unsure what's happening, or how to correct it without having to replace each bad transistion... Any Ideas....

Is it only certain transition that goes black or do they all? Which ones?

Try switching the render method used from hardware to software or vice versa. Look under Tools/Options for the toggle switch
