Burning Issues

trying to use a cd to burn my slideshows on. my mac will let me burn to a dvd but when we only have 100 to 200 pic thats a waste of media. so will toast help me or is this and impossible mission. I'm also useing music from garage band to use with the pictures

What settings are you using in Toast? Toast doesn't support audio with its DVD slide shows so I'm unclear how you're putting this together. If you want this to play on a DVD player it must be burned to DVD media unless you choose to make an SVCD that is burned to CD media.
