Windows Xp Path System Variable

I found that when I tried to do a ipconfig command it wasn't working ... unable to find windows\system32 ... checked the path variable and it appeared that Roxio 2011 install had wrote over the standard. I added C:\Windows\System32\;C:\Windows\;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem; back in so it looks like this:

 

C:\Windows\System32\;C:\Windows\;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\13.0\DLLShared\

 

The bolded text is all that was there prior.

 

Just sharing and wondering if anyone else has observed this?

Nope - my install works just fine and the path is intact

I install various versions a lot, and haven't had the path variable disturbed.

 

I'm glad you found and fixed it - whatever caused it in the first place.
