Create Title Slides In Videowave (C2011)

Hello! I am having a hard time trying to do something seemingly easy. I am making a photo/video collage that needs to have two title slides before it starts...one black slide for 8 seconds with the show title...followed by a 10 second black slide with the tribute text.

 

I ASSUME to do this I insert a color panel (black), then type text, which works fine. However, when I create the second slide (also black) it just copies the first one with the text. No matter which one I edit, they both change...I can't seem to add a second slide that is unique.

 

Any ideas? Thanks!

Add the separate text for the Title and the Tribute to the internal tracks of the color panels. Title text to the internal track of the first color panel, then the Tribute text to the internal track of the second color panel.

 

Make sure that you click on Done on the left side of the internal track, for each panel, after you add your text.

Thanks my friend...that worked. I would have never have thought to do that. A few of the other video editing tools I've used there is a "title" button that just inserts one or more slides.
