Bad Connection When Trying To Burn A Disc Or Dvd

Question

I started out buying Toast Titanium and all was well, until the error messages started to appear. Every time I would attempt to burn a disc, macbook pro screen would go gray and force me to restart. Then I would receive the message that I had a unstable connection or their was a MAC OS error. So far tech support has not been any help, other than sending me the same emails telling me to do the same things I have already tried without any success. It is a shame that I have spent good money for this program and am unable to use it. Can anyone help or have any suggestions!

I have a 15 in macbook pro with snow leopard OS.

Are you having this problem with the internal drive? Can you burn discs using the Finder, Disk Utility, iPhoto or iTunes? I don't know why you'd be getting this error except for the reason it describes. I once had to reinstall my OS to solve a disc burning problem but that probably was an entirely different issue.
