I have cats, so I lock my computer when I step away from it. CTRL-ALT-DEL, then "Lock Computer." This was included in Windows since Windows NT 3.1.
I believe locking the computer will pause any media being played in Windows Media Player 12, which kind-of makes sense. But if I'm rendering a movie and I need to walk away for a moment, why would locking the computer also pause VideoWave's rendering?
