No images in downloaded mp4 files

Question

I'm having a similar problem, but not exactly. I'm using the online Premium package. I create the Slide Show and go thru the process of creating an MP4. After several hours, I download the MP4 but I only hear the music, but can't see any of the pictures. I used the online chat help. They couldn't diagnose the problem and said that they would respond to me within 24 hours. It's been almost 3 days and no response at all. Help!

If you are in the US, call them. Did you check your spam folder for a reply?

Does the on-line PhotoShow display properly? When you download the mp4 file, where do you not see the pictures -on your computer? What are you trying to play the mp4 file with (application). mp4 files are an apple type format; do you have the latest version of Quicktime on your computer? Try playing the mp4 file with the free VLC player that you can download from cnet.com.

Come back and give us more information.

OK, I'll try calling them. Yes, I checked my spam folder and nothing came in.

Yes, when I play the PhotoShow online, I can see the video and hear the music. It works fine. It's when I download the MP4 file that I can't see the video. I downloaded the latest version of QuickTime to be sure that wasn't the problem and I also tried opening the video in iTunes. Neither plays the video, just the music. I'll try VLC from cNet. I've never heard of it and would interested to see if it fixes the problem. Thanks for your reply!

VLC won't fix the problem but it plays just about everything. How big (kb) is the downloaded file? Please p.m. a link to the program and I'll download it to see if my computer will play it. Is this the only PhotoShow that will not play?
