I had the same problem re Certificate Missing when I tried opening after initial install. I finally read the suggestion re download the Certificate Repair Folder then turn off computer and reopen in Safe Mode. It worked. I reopened in Safe Mode, ran the Certificate Repair in Safe Mode, then opened Roxio VHS to DVD in Safe Mode. It all went fine - turned off computer, reopened in normal Startup Mode & all is fine. Thanks - much appreciated. Am using Dell Studio XPS laptop, Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4Ghz, 64 bit OS, Windows 7 Home Premium.

I had the same problem. Try installing the disc to a desktop folder and run from there. It worked for me. I haven't tried to use it yet but at least I'am able to get into the program now. Thanks to someone named "G" on this site

I have been struggling with the "certificate missing" problem for three weeks. But today I finally got it to work. I first disabled my McAfee applications. I then followed the link the digitalguru (Jim Hardin)referred to. I did not disable my start up programs through the msconfig program, but went straight to Creator2010 and downloaded the RepairLicense2010. I restarted Windows in Safe Mode, by repeatedly pressing F8. I opened in Safe Mode, opened Windows Explorer, opened Downloads, clicked on RepairLicensec2010, clicked again on RepiarLicenseC2010, clicked on Open File, clicked Run. The "Activation Form" opened and I clicked on Reset License and TimeLock. I heard a faint noise, but nothing seemed to be happening. I waited a few minutes and tried to open Roxio - and it opened. I reactivated McAfee, restarted my computer and everything seems to be working fine. Good luck.

That's good to hear!
