Need Help With Cineplayer Bd?

can't play a movie in 3D. Menu displays choice of 2D or 3D. after select, movie does not start, just a black screen w/control bar present at bottom. if you tap "space bar" to play, the word "prohibited" displays in upper left corner. plays in 2D fine. I have a 3D ready notebook.

If you have a "3D Ready" notebook, then it came with 3D Player software... Does the movie work in that one?

If BD, do you have the Roxio BD Player Plug-in installed?

Is this a commercial 3D Bluray movie? If so, you need to purchase the Bluray playback plugin as Jim suggested.
