Instal Update

I purchased a boxed version of Toast 10 Titanium for my Mac with Snow Leopard. It was 10.0.04.

 

I checked for updates and downloaded 10.0.08.

 

I can't get the new version to load into the Applications folder, nothing happens when I drag it over.

I can open the new version from the downloads folder but get a warning message that it is not in the Applications folder.

 

I renamed 10.0.04 by adding "old" to the name but no joy.

 

Am I missing something?

I don't know what could be the problem. Try dragging the Toast folder to the Desktop and see if it will copy there. If it does it should also copy from the Desktop to the Applications folder.

Thanks. That worked, but I had to rename the old folder before it would move into Applications.

Odd way to update, never had to do this before; the software usually updates automatically.
