Is there certain file types that are better to use when creating BD disks? When I import .mts files that came from my Canon Vixia HF20 into MyDVD portion of Roxio 11 with the BD plug in, it brings them in fine. I select the "add as one movie" button. I can edit them, add text, clip, etc... When I add a couple of movies groups in that fashion to the project everything looks good til I go to burn. When trying to burn a .iso image file to the hard drive, it gets to the stage where it says converting files and freezes or hangs indefinitely. Sometimes I have to quit the program and it will say that VideoWave is not responding and Windows 7 is looking for a solution to the problem, but none is ever found. If I convert the .mts files to mpeg formats using another program first, it says it needs to convert them to a format roxio can use, it does and then the .iso file image seems to burn ok, but why should I need to do this outside of Roxio if Roxio supports .mts files? I need help on this please. I have also tried bringing in the .mts files into Roxio editor and then sending them over to MyDVD as a production. The encoder can get to a certain point, maybe 47% and then hangs as well. Somethimes it only get to 11%.
