sknis
EMC 10 will copy a commercial audio CD, but the copy won't play in all CD players. What can I do? Get new players. I gather that the discs play on some players and not others. That means they were made correctly. Dont' be so cheap, get some good quality CD; not store brands. Burn (copy) at a slower rate. Please don't ask about copying copy righted material.
Brendon
Hello, If it plays in SOME CD players, then you know that the disc structure has been copied properly and you probably need to look to the players for the reason they won't play it. Some players don't like burned discs and will only play the pressed commercial discs. Could that apply to the ones which won't play your copies? I have been using Memorex CD-R and they seem to work fine. The copies I make work in my Bose CD changer, but don't always work in the top single disk player. My understanding about copy-righted material is that you can make 1 backup copy for yourself. Am I wrong?
gi7omy
If it's copy protected (some are) then no yo can't. If it isn't, then that's a different story Dump the memorex and get some verbatim discs and also try burning at a lower speed
Chippychap
Most players come with a list of file types that they will play. Sometime I burn into the wrong format i.e. mp3 CD instead of "Audio CD" But that is just me. Best of luck with it.
