Screen resolution problems

nobre

Question

There must be some way to change some configuration and open the program. I say this because on my late notebook I could open the program and later changed my screen resolution to 800X600 and it kept opening normally.

Maybe someone on the roxio official staff can answer this? can't we really use PhotoSuite on a netbook? I really need to open mine on my netbook.

I am sorry I don't understand what you are asking. As stated in requirements the minimum resolution is 1024 x 768, 16-bit color graphics card.

Have you tried opening PhotoSuite from the Start/Programs page or by searching for PhotoSuite.exe and opening that directly?

I don't think any Roxio staff will respond since that program is legacy and no longer supported directly.

Is your netbook running W7 Starter Edition? If so, it does not have the capability of running the program. If you upgrade from Starter, then your netbook would be very slow and this program may still not run.

Even if you were trying to run MyDVD 10 Premier , then the minimum requirements are :Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate (32- or 64 bit), Windows VistaTM Home/Business/Ultimate, Windows XP Professional, Home or MCE Edition, with Service Pack 2 or later

I did try to install Creator 2010 on a netbook and the main program would not run but PhotoSuite would open. I never tried to run it.

EMC 10 is NOT compatible with W7 of any level; only Creator 2010 and 2011 will run on W7 except for the Starter Edition. Read thisfor a full list of Roxio programs that will run with W7 (above starter edition).
