I need assistance please. I have installed and uninstalled several times. I really wish to try once more as the program seems great. I have prepped my computer. Removed all drivers pertaining to Roxio. Defragmented my computer. Emptied recycle bin. Updated all hardware. Updated windows.
The Roxio Easy VHS to DVD Build is 201B23A according to the photos.
I plan to attach the Roxio capture device to a USB 2.0 port on the back of my computer directly, without using the extension cable. Next I will insert the installation CD and install the program. When the install Wizard pops up to install the drivers I will stop it. I will install the drivers manually by going to the download I read in this discussion group. It is Roxio C2009USBCaptureDriver.zip. Next I will attach the composite cablesyellow, red, and white to the capture device then attach them to the out ports on the back of a VCR. It is an Emerson about 6 year old.
Can you tell me if this is the correct procedure and if not provide correct procedure.
