Question

I bought Creator 2011 for the main intention of converting short .wmv files into 3D.

Using Windows Vista.

I follow this sequence : Edit Video Advanced .. Videowave opens .. Create New Production but Media Selector will not allow me to find my source files from the folder they are in..it will only allow me to open videos ( which are NOT .wmv files ) from the Folder My Videos. Any attempt to open a different source location causes

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program c:\Program Files\Roxio2011\VideoUI\VideoWave 13.exe

Runtime Error. "This application has requested Runtime to terminate in an unusual way."

Any attempt at File : Open Video/Picture also produces the same error message.

Then the program returns to the opening screen.

Any help anyone ?

Yep, pleanty. Here is a Kb articlefor that error in Video Wave.

It would really help if you put your computer specs in your signature via My Settings at the top of this page.

Select your files from File/Open instead of Media Selection window

NO, ‘File Open’ can only see Production Files, dmsm…

But over in the Add Contentpane, the Add Photo/Video is probably what you were thinking about. :mellow:

But Steve’s post to address the underlying problem is probably the BEST way to handle this ;)
