Webcam The Only Video Signal? Help!

I have everything installed and connected correctly. When I try to "Record, Edit, Save", my webcam automatically connects and shows in the playback square. I have my VCR (it's a vcr/dvd combo) connected and a VHS is playing. How do I get my VHS to show up in the playback square instead of my webcam? (Sorry, I hope that makes sense!)

Go into it's properties or in device manager properties for the webcam and disable it.
