Nigel10
I am using Roxio Burn and when I drag just 4.29Gb of DVD folder VIDEO_TS to Roxio Burn it says I need two discs! Can anyone advise? I have a regular blank DVD in the drive Thanks Nigel
Brendon
You might be a victim of the "shifting standards" in sizing drives and discs, Nigel. A single-layer DVD should have about 4483 MB free, which is round about 4.3 GB, or 4,707,319,808 bytes. However some folks count in multiples of 1024 bytes while others count in multiples of 1000 bytes. The result is widespread confusion. Try dragging a little less until you see it says that a single disc will suffice. Note whatever data size that is, and work on that in future. Jim_Hardin
And keep in mind that Roxio Burn utilizes Sesson Burning, meaning you can add more later, and this requires about 25 MB for the first use + 10 MB for every Session after that.
