Is it possible to output/save to hardrive, a MyDVD production as one file, say .avi, so that one can stream it/view it to T.V.? Similarly, reproduce/save a MyDVD production now on DVD disc to hardrive as one file, say .avi, file?

Yes it is possible to make an AVI (or other) file. What kind of avi file? Normal AVI DVd files are large and difficult to stream. What are you going to use to stream the video?

Open Edit Video Advanced, add all the video files you want, do any video editing and then select to output your project to a file of your choice. If you want HD options, you must select 16 by 9 to start.

You can do the same thing with Copy and Convert Video. If you are starting with a DVD, then this is a better choice. Use the HELP file in that application for detailed instructions.

Remember that no Roxio application will break DRM protection.

I'm new to the streaming method but thought I'd use Windows 7. If better program and file format other than avi please let me know.

It seems you want me to go to Videowave from MyDVD, my production have menues, and from Videowave output as an avi file, which I have done before sending avi file to Facebook or YouTube, is this what you are saying?

I will try the Copy and Convert to avi which I can store on hardrive. If this works I can do same with productions in MyDvd, create file folder, then use Copy and Convert. Usually go this way when making DVD discs.

I have not done any streaming either so I'm not even at your level. What program/device are you going to use to stream and where are you going to stream to?

I think how you proceed all depends on the device that you are using to stream and it's capabilities or requirements. For example, some streaming devices may require MPEG 2 files and others MPEG 4 files. Some may be able to stream a DVD folder complete with menus or DivX files with menus. Without knowing which device brand and model of the streaming device, we probably can't advise you.
