At the bottom of the Quick Find list you'll see a little gear looking thing. That's the Settings icon, click it.

That will open the box that let's you select where Quick Find will look for files. It will also let you turn off monitoring all together.

I've turned off all locations, tried to turn off monitoring altogether, but when I want to make an audio CD (books, mostly), the Quick Find panel always comes up. I don't want to see it, except MAYBE occasionally, in which case I can just click on it. How do I turn it off completely by default? I had it set up the way I wanted once, but had to do a clean install recently, and I can't remember what I did before.

If it makes any difference, I'm running Roxio Creator 9. Any help overcoming this annoyance would be appreciated.
