I have a MacMini, running Snow Leopard. I purchased Toast 10 Titanium today specifically for it's ability to host movies for the Tivo Series 2. I entered the Tivo's MAK, dragged a folder containing videos and pressed the 'Start Server' button on the Mac2Tivo client. The mac doesn't show up in the 'now playing list' of the Tivo. Having previously used the TivoDesktop on Windows, I'm familiar with what should appear.
Running the 'Tivo Transer' app shows the Tivo and it's present list of shows that it has recorded, so I know the connection is working.
